Not designed for Indian Roads !

So, I am talking about a Transmission which is available in the Indian Market which is sold by Volkswagen. I am talking about the DSG transmission (Direct Shift Gearbox) or mostly known as DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). This is a great piece of technology and really is great for Fast and smooth gear shifts. This transmission is mostly given in Seltos, Polo, Vento and mostly all Volkswagen owned car brands. But this is not designed for Indian roads because the sensors and the gearbox is itself very complex and fragile. Volkswagen invented this for the European roads where there are no bumps, puddles or any problem while driving the car and where you have highways. So, as I have done some research  about this gearbox and I have found out that even if a bit of water touches the electrical connection or some rock hits the transmission, you will have a 5 digit bill after going to service centre. You also need to change a lot of driving habits. So, At the end I would recommend that If you want to choose a car with an Automatic Transmission, you can choose a car with AMT, AT and CVT. I am recommending this because these transmission are well suited for Indian roads.

To really make my point sound right, that mostly the problems with DCT arrive with Volkswagen

This is a better reference Image of a DCT transmission
